December 21st, 2007Moccia’s Train Stop

This was taken on one of our trips to Moccia’s Train Stop. Moccia’s has great food, especially their sandwiches such as their Zep.

Stop in early as the line at Moccia’s can be quite long, although, the wait is well worth it. As good as Eve’s Lunch Zeps or a close second.

The guacamole looks delicious as well as the chile sauce. I am so hungry for Mexican food right now, maybe I can talk Lizzie into going out for some.

Got any good Mexican restaurants near you?

Trattoria Totaro Restaurant -Conshohocken

I was in search of the Conshohocken Italian Bakery, but stopped at this great little BYOB Italian restaurant in Conshohocken first and ordered three sandwiches since they use the Conshy bakery as their bread supplier.

According to Lizzie and many others, the best sandwiches in the Philly area are made on Conshy rolls. So if you have had an authentic Philly Cheese Steak, it hopefully was on one of these rolls. If it wasn’t, then you didn’t have the best Philly Cheese Steak.

The Trattoria is a really quaint restaurant that has been at its current location for well over a decade. The dining room has murals painted walls and an atmosphere that begs you to share a couple of nice bottles of your own favorite wine. Lizzie and I will have to check it out for dinner.

I had an interview at Unreal Marketing last week. Thankfully, I didn’t get the position because upon entering the office area, I really started to feel very uneasy. Must have been the bad Feng Shui of all the office workers in their cubicles.

Anyway, after the interview was over, I went in search of the Conshohocken Italian Bakery for bread. I first ended up going to an Italian eatery where I ordered three sandwiches(crab cake sandwich, a hoagie, and a chicken sandwich) since they used the Conshy bakery for their rolls.
Lizzie tells me that if the sandwiches are any good, they get their bread from the Conshy bakery.

Cutillo’s Scallops Carbonara must be a new addition to there menu for it is not listed on their website menu. Lizzie is a fan of Carbonara, and this did not let her down at all.
Lizzie actually just suggested that we have the Baldydog Christmas party at Cutillo’s since they do have lots of rooms available for banquets and parties. Want to come to the Baldydog Christmas party? Let us know.

Picked up this Cheesecake Factory chocolate cheesecake from Barnes & Nobles in Reading when my daughter and I had been doing a little bit of Christmas shopping. Its great to know I can Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake there.

Godmother Filet Tips Stroganoff at Cutillo’s was awesome. Started out with a salad with house dressing, then this entre. We then had deserts which were mouth wateringly good. I had the Pecan Cheesecake, and Lizzie had the better of the two desserts, which was the hot fudge chocolate cake.
