Last Friday, Lizzie and I were in the mood for some good Italian. Googling Italian Food Pottstown, Angelina’s Italian Kitchen was at the top of the page. Looking at other reviews of Angelina’s indicated it was a great place to go for pasta.

Thankfully, I made a reservation, as Angelina’s only has seating for 26 people, which makes this a really cozy Italian family restaurant. At one point it seemed like each member of the family had waited on us to include the daughter, mom and dad.

Checking out the takeout menu, the words “Pottstown’s best kept secret” are the first thing that I noticed. The next thing I noticed is that Angelina’s has an award winning pulled pork sandwich. A couple that was sitting next to us, had ordered one of these sandwiches for their son who goes to school nearby. The woman said her son swears they are the best sandwiches he has ever had…I guess I’ll have to stop back for a pulled pork sandwich.

The brief video of our experience at Angelina’s is below. Again sorry for the quality, my video taking skills are really lacking.

Angelina’s Italian Kitchen is truly a quaint family owned restaurant that I highly suggest everyone experience. Call ahead to guarantee you have a spot. Angelina’s also has a take out menu, which I will work on getting posted here in the near future. In the mean time, if you have the chance, give Angelina’s a try for some of the most authentic Italian cuisine in the Pottstown area.
