March 10th, 2008Clinton Station Diner
A couple of weeks ago we had to pick up some guests at the Newark Airport, which is a good couple of hours away from Boyertown. The best thing about going to Newark is that we always pass the Clinton Station Diner, which is just off of I-78. Lizzie and I have stopped at the Clinton Station Diner numerous times before, so we felt really comfortable taking our out of town guests there on the way back to Boyertown.
I noticed on the menu that they now have a number of huge burgers including Mt Olympus the 50lb burger, Zeus a 7lb burger, and Atlas a 3lb burger. All of these burgers have different “Eat them all and they are free” options, which differ by the number of people eating the burgers and the time you are alloted.
I have never had a burger at the station, but if they are anything like the rest of the food, I am sure they are really delicious.
My favorite dish has to be the sausage and peppers pasta bowl as well as their desserts which taste as good as they look. The Clinton Station Diner prides itself on the freshness of its food which is entirely made on site.
Thankfully, we found the Clinton Station Diner, because I almost enjoy going to the Newark Airport now, knowing that I will be able to stop off at the diner for some of their wonderful desserts. If you stop in, make sure you are hungry, because the portions, may not all be like the Mt. Olympus, but they are well proportioned. In addition to the portion sizes, the diner has a wide selection which is sure to satisfy the fussiest of eaters.
