Last weekend, Lizzie and I attended PodcampPhilly 2009 and had an amazing time. Not only did we have the chance to eat tons of good food, but we got to brush up on our Social Media knowledge. I actually did my very first presentation.

On Saturday during the closing session, @GloriaBell of Red Stapler Consulting announced the opening of ShareURMeal.com.
What is ShareURMeal About?
ShareURMeal is a website where users can post pictures and brief titles of their food pictures. By doing this, they can help to earn $1 per pic good toward helping to feed those in need.
After signing up, (simple form) the users can upload pics in 2 ways, directly by visiting the site, or by emailing the picture to ShareURMeal. Users are assigned an email account after they sign up.
Sounds pretty cool. I already have uploaded several photos of our meals during PodcampPhilly last weekend. Here is the link to my ShareURMeal food photos.
I am not sure of all the specifics, but I was told by Gloria that the United Way will handle all the dinero, so that all ShareURMeal has to do is manage the site.

Currently, ShareURMeal is only for photos of food at restaurants in Philadelphia, PA. Hopefully they will expand to other areas in the near future.
