Hot Wings - Honey Mustard Hot Wings

A review of the delicious honey mustard hot wings at Basin Street Hotel of Kutztown, PA

Last night for dinner, Lizzie and I ate at Basin Street in Kutztown. I have been to Basin Street maybe a dozen times in the past, and have eaten their hot wings on more than one occasion, but not since I started the hot wings reviews page.

Last time I ate at Basin Street was with my daughter during the final US vs Canada Olympic hockey game. At that time I had a dozen of the standard hot wings, and remember being very satisfied with them.  I actually left a tip on FourSquare that said “Outstanding hot wings”.

I actually had not planned on getting wings tonight, but Lizzie and I were driving around, and the first three places I had recommended, were no longer in business. Sadly, a ton of restaurants in our area have gone out of business, and these places would not have been hot wings types of venues. But being we ended up at Basin St, wings I did get.

Honey Mustard Hot Wings

Some buffalo wing purists would not have a very good opinion of these hot wings because they have a light batter beanth the sauce, but I was in heaven. Had I not ordered the delicious “Golden Bear”, which is
“A Major Course of Hot Roast Beef topped with Cole Slaw and Fries served on a French Roll“, I could have eaten all of the delicous hot wings very easily, however,  I controlled myself and only had 5 of them.   The official hot wing rating from thegrubhound will be remain 4.5 stars…congrats go out to Basin Street…woot..woot…
