As part of the holiday season, I am planning on donating to our local food pantry, which we are always hearing is always in need of food.
Last week I learned about a program that Susquehanna Bank, (which has a branch in my town, but I don’t have an account with yet) is participating in which involves following Susquehanna on Twitter and retweeting their tweet about their program known as #Tweet2Feed.
For following them on Twitter, they will donate 10 meals to various food banks. For retweeting the tweet about the program they will donate 5 meals. The goal for the program is 150,000 meals, and the program runs until December 31st. At the time of this writing, there have been 45,675 meals donated. You can click the Tweet2Feed link above, and look at the sidebar to view the food banks that will benefit from the program.

If it is for a good cause, count me in. Especially if Christmas is a few days away.

Shame we are late to help. We just finished our website and are trying to learn more about how to use Social Media effectively. Nevertheless, I can see the program was a real success and for that you must feel all proud. So congratulations! I hope to be able to help more in future. All the best.
