Mexican Food - Where to Get Mexican in Dallas, Tx

July 11th, 2011 · 1 Comment

If you are in the Dallas TX area and hungry for Tex-Mex, you ought to check out Mattito’s Tex-Mex for some of the best Mexican food Dallas has to offer. If you are a reader of this blog, you know that I love good Mexican food, especially good guacamole(mine is awesome) and margaritas.

Being my wife and I love margaritas so much, I just have to add Mattito’s margaritas to my list of to-dos, as I was checking out their colorful site, and I noticed that they won an award for being one of the top ten tequila bars in the United States. So my reasoning is that a top tequila bar ought to have a tremendous margarita such as their Rumba Rita..hmm..sounds deliciously fun.

Catering in Dallas

Say you live in the Dallas area, and your daughter is getting married, and your darling little niña had her first date with your future son in law at Mattitos. Why not involve Mattitos in the wedding by letting them cater a wedding reception Dallas parents will all love. Mattitos is able to cater events in sizes from 10-1000 people.  Additionally, if you are looking for a banquet restaurant Dallas area for between 20 -200+ attendees, then check out Mattitos site, and give them a call to reserve their banquet facilities.

Mattitos Fun

I was checking out Mattitos on FourSquare, and noticed that they have a lot of tips that suggest trying the Bob Armstrong Dip or the Bob Armstrong Queso, which is not on their menu, but is something for which they are known and consists of cheese, ground beef, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo..hmm..sounds like an interesting mix that would be great with some fresh baked corn chips.

On several of the Mattito’s FourSquare profiles, I noticed that their Sunday brunch got a lot of thumbs ups. I also read on their Facebook Fanpage, that one patron was going their for the brunch the past Sunday for their mom’s Bday. Sounds like Mottito’s is a great place for a family gathering, be it a birthday party or wedding reception in the Dallas area.

When I get to the Dallas area, I plan on visiting Mattito’s for both a Rumba Rita and some Bob Armstrong Queso.

How about You?

Have you ever been to Mattito’s and had a Rumba Rita?
