Do you have a food related blog? If so, why not do as I did and add the Foodie Blogroll to your site, and begin networking with other food bloggers.

January 31st, 2008Mybloglog Community post

I just noticed that the Mybloglog community for Thegrubhound does not have any members. Mybloglog LogoPerhaps I need to finish the verification procedure, so here is the link:
(Did the verification and removed the link)

Join MyblogLog

If any readers happen to be Mybloglog members, please join the community. If you are a site owner and you don’t have a Mybloglog account, I would highly recommend it, because it is a great way to drive traffic to your site, and it creates a network of readers that come back and participate if you have a blog. Non-blog sites may also be listed on Mybloglog, so it also counts for the link juice.
Got a food blog? Sign up and join my community and I’ll do the same for you.

January 9th, 2008TheGrubhound on Blogcatalog

Just created a group on Blogcatalog for food lovers. Blogcatalog is one of the Social communities that I have used with other sites, and creating groups on the site is one way to get your blogs name out there. I also joined a bunch of other food groups on the site.

Once such group is Classic North American Eateries, which was created by WokeupToday, who writes on the groovy blog Diners Roadhouses, Drive-ins, Joints and Dives where he writes about you guessed it Diners Roadhouses, Drive-ins and the like. I wonder if he has been to the oldest Drive-in in the US?

I also joined the Pizza Club, which is a group that discusses pizza. I wonder if the issue of Chicago vs Deep Dish has come up yet?

I plan on using the Blogcatalog Food group for not only networking purposes, but hopefully, I will be able to find some good places to eat as well.

December 21st, 2007Moccia’s Train Stop

This was taken on one of our trips to Moccia’s Train Stop. Moccia’s has great food, especially their sandwiches such as their Zep.

Stop in early as the line at Moccia’s can be quite long, although, the wait is well worth it. As good as Eve’s Lunch Zeps or a close second.

December 12th, 2007The Grub Hound on Flickr

A photo group for TheGrubHound.com was just started on Flickr. Anyone with a Flickr account can join, and post food pictures to the group. Members may also request to have free post on this site. So if they want to add a review of their favorite restaurant, they can let me know by leaving a comment on any post.

Since Flickr is free to join, this means that anyone can post a restaurant review here for free. Posts need to be approved before being published, but I really don’t think my standards are too hard to reach.

Got a food site you want to review, let me know by either commenting here or on the Flickr group.
